Love on Their Own Terms.

Steph and Tom's civil partnership was one of those absolutely perfect days.

On a sun-drenched afternoon at the beautiful Old Bromley Town Hall, these two did things entirely on their own terms. No traditions followed for the sake of it, no rules that didn't feel like theirs. Just two people, completely in love, surrounded by everyone who matters to them.

They walked down the aisle alone, one by one, and honestly It was one of the most powerful things I've witnessed at a ceremony. Steph looked effortlessly cool in a waistcoat and trousers, and Tom, her utterly doting partner, could barely take his eyes off her.

The whole day had this beautiful intimacy to it. Family and friends filled the room with warmth and laughter, and during the drinks reception that followed I got to capture all of it. the hugs, the happy tears, the couples smooching, the friends cuddles, the lot. These are the bits I love the most about these kind of ceremonies.

I was only there for three hours. Three hours to capture a lifetime of love, and honestly it was all we needed.

This is what a micro civil partnership or wedding does so well. it strips everything back to what actually matters. No filters or fillers. Just love, in the purest sense. Old Bromley Town hall is perfect for an intimate affair. Big shout out the team there too. There are on top of everything single thing and the every time I’ve shot there I am blown away how they make each day run effortlessly.

Steph and Tom, thank you for letting me be part of your perfect day.
